Eckerd College – STG has established a research and development platform at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida to support ongoing upgrades and improvements to solar ORC technology. In addition to long term performance evaluation, STG is optimizing autonomous control strategies and testing new high efficiency expanders for the ORC at the Eckerd test facility. The solar array consists of 20 SopoNova collectors donated by Sopogy, Inc. while the ORC was custom built by STG.
